Connect a model for modding
Lisboa Maker runs on Windows 10 or 11. You can choose a cloud AI provider through a standard API endpoint, a model running locally on your PC, or the built-in model ready to use without your own endpoint.
Choose your model source
Cloud AI provider
A cloud AI provider through a standard API endpoint may charge for API usage under its own terms. The prompt and file text the agent reads go to that provider.
Local PC model
With a local model, prompts and file contents stay on your PC. Web search and web fetch tools still use the network.
Built-in model
The built-in model is the starting option that needs no endpoint setup. The Test button checks an endpoint, shows response time and the context window.
Test your connection
The Test button checks an endpoint and shows the response time. It also displays the context window size for the selected model. This quick check confirms that your API key and network settings are correct before you start working.
Pick the right model size
run_on_model sends a hard step to a bigger model; smaller models may be enough for small edits and simple text replacements in config files.
Quality varies between models, so review the diff carefully before accepting. Ask first pauses before every action that changes something. You see the exact file change and can decide whether to apply it to your game files.
